today we went to the dwr
modern craft event and i finally met
sally! i have been reading her blog for sometime now and have purchased quite a few items from her. it was great to meet her in person...we chatted up a storm like we knew each other for years. of course, i purchased a few treats: a couple of lovely glass tealight holders and a new pencil cup. i could have bought more, but i was with the hubby...so i behaved.
i also met melissa and tess. two super nice local portland ladies who design. i am looking forward to attending yet another dwr event this tuesday, the design sponge ladies biz meetup. i hope to make more connections with the local craft + design world.
oh another treat i acquired is the eames hang-it-all. i won it in a raffle last thursday at the iida annual fundraising bowling event! score!
